Why is chaach better than curd in summers?

If you love salty chaach, then here is how you can make it. Add 2 cups of curd to a pot. Add ¼ cup water, ½ tsp ground roasted cumin, ¼ tsp black pepper powder, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, 4 mint leaves, two pinches of red chilli powder and salt as per taste. Use a mathani or a whisk to mix everything well. Pour into glasses and enjoy the salty chaach.
If you have a sweet tooth, then sugary buttermilks will come in handy. You can just add some powdered sugar to your chaach and enjoy. You can also make fruity buttermilks by blending curd with some sugar and fruits of your choice. From strawberry and mango to chocolate and dry fruit buttermilk, you can experiment with chaach in a number of ways. (image credits- istock)
