The inspiring story of Amartya Raj: conquered his fears to gain success.

2 min read

Amartya Raj, a 21 years old talented and dynamic student from Motihari, Bihar is our new rising star. He moved to New Delhi to pursue his higher education and had little interest in singing and never knew he will be well-established in the music industry one day.

During his school days, he started listening to all the popular songs of Honey Singh which inspired him to become a singer when he grew up.

The major hindrance that many people ignore since that comes naturally to them is “speaking” and Amartya had a problem with stuttering. He had to go through a lot of bullying but Amartya possessed the great will, positivity, and wit and turned his life around. He set a goal in his mind to answer his bullies unimaginably- “By Singing songs on stage in front of an audience” so he began his journey as a singer to overcome this problem of his and thought no problem is big if your will is greater. He worked and produced his First Single “Gal Dil Di” which got a fairly good response in the market. As he was on the lookout to upgrade his musical talents, he met with Shobayy an established music composer/producer with the help of Instagram.

He visited the Shobayy Music LLP facility in New Delhi and discussed his journey, Shobayy was amazed and inspired to see the zeal and talent in Amartya despite his problem of being able to speak that Amartya wanted to sing, Shobayy immediately contacted the multitalented composer/lyricist Amit Bisht and roped him in the project and that’s when “Sajna” came into existence. The song was released on Panorama Music Punjabi and got an amazing response as it crossed a whopping 1 lac views just on its lyrical video!

The team is working on another song which they will release this valentines day and we are excited that this will surely become a massive hit. We now have a live example that music is a cure for anyone with a problem. We are greatly inspired by his struggle of stuttering and conquering his fear of speaking and wish Amartya a lot of success in his future.
