OOTER is Launched, A Platform Aiming to Digitize India’s Outdoor Hoarding & Billboard Advertising Industry
The outdoor advertising industry has long been one of the most influential marketing channels in India. From large billboards along highways to hoardings in busy urban markets, outdoor media has been a critical tool for brand visibility. Despite its scale, the industry has remained largely fragmented and offline, with limited digital infrastructure to support advertisers and media owners.
Recognizing this gap, Adbook Communication Private Limited launched OOTER for users on 1st April, a technology platform designed to organize and digitize the outdoor advertising ecosystem.
OOTER aims to connect advertisers with outdoor media owners on a centralized platform where advertising inventory such as hoardings, billboards, and outdoor media spaces can be discovered, booked, and managed digitally.
According to the company, the platform addresses one of the biggest challenges in outdoor advertising — the lack of a structured, transparent marketplace.
Traditionally, advertisers looking to book outdoor advertising campaigns have had to rely on manual processes involving multiple vendors, agencies, and negotiations. This process is often time-consuming and lacks transparency.
OOTER aims to change that by bringing the industry onto a single digital interface.
Through the platform, advertisers can explore available outdoor advertising sites across cities with a multilayered search system, check options, check real time availability and book campaigns directly and check their execution process of printing, mounting, site live proof and can download proof of execution kits within the platform. Vendors, on the other hand, can list their inventory and gain access to a wider pool of advertisers.
The company believes that digitization will help bring greater transparency, efficiency, and trust to the outdoor advertising ecosystem.
“Outdoor advertising has always been a powerful medium, but the industry has lacked a unified digital infrastructure. OOTER was created to simplify how brands discover and book outdoor media,” said Bharat Rana, Founder of OOTER.
The platform introduces structured booking workflows, transparent pricing mechanisms, and organized campaign execution systems that aim to reduce friction between advertisers and media owners.

One of the key goals of OOTER is to enable advertisers to plan campaigns more efficiently while helping media owners monetize their inventory more effectively.
The company has also begun onboarding vendors and conducting industry webinars ahead of the platform’s wider rollout. Now at the time of launching OOTER has covered almost 60-70% of the Uttar pradesh region inventory with some covered Delhi.
Industry experts believe that platforms like OOTER could play a significant role in modernizing the outdoor advertising sector in India, especially as brands increasingly look for integrated marketing solutions that combine offline and digital channels.
With the growing importance of location-based marketing, OOTER aims to position itself as a key infrastructure layer for the outdoor advertising industry.
