My HR Business Consulting Story
3 min readThe shining polish on my theatrical skills (direction, scripting, role insights and audience connect) that was thick layered upon me while being an active associate of Bhartiya Natya Shikshapeeth, clubbed with two decades of professional experience in the corporate world, and a pedigree from IIT Bombay with specialization in HR & global marketing… these ingredients were just the right mix to start my consulting journey.
I started as a corporate trainer wherein I was offering my learning & development services to many organizations across domains and locations such as Lionbridge, L&T, L’Oréal, Lakme Lever, Africure, Arrk Software, Tech Mahindra, Rave Technologies, Kyoritsu Electric India and many more.
My top 3 celebrated programs are Creativity & Innovation, Customer Centricity & Drama based trainings on POSH, role clarity and corporate values.
At this time, I was also started getting invited as a panelist & key note speaker in various educational institutions like NMIMS, VJTI, Live Wires Media Institute and many business conferences across Asia. In 2016, for the very first time in my life, I addressed a huge crowd of five thousand entrepreneurs in Thailand.
Here is when some coaching & mentoring requests started coming in both from individuals, startups and corporates to address their leadership team’s development needs. Clients were slowly waking up to the power of 1 on 1 sessions and were keen to engage me.
The coachees and mentees across levels ( CXO’s, middle level managers, other professionals such as medical, chartered accountants, models and even politicians) started reporting back greater variety of responses like “ It was never a dull moment”, ” I am now on a Fastrack of success”, “ His coaching helped me at multiple levels, right from identifying my emotional barriers, prejudices, inhibitions to improving my planning, time management, problem solving, anger management, stress management and many more skills.
