Inauguration of YouthUp Global South Asia’s International Centre at Sathyabama – TBI, Chennai
2 min readOn 4th August 2022, YouthUp Global South Asia’s International Center was inaugurated at Sathyabama Technology Business Incubator, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai by Shri. M Sesha Sai, Honorary Consul General, Republic of Seychelles.
YouthUp Global South Asia is a collaboration of YouthUp Global, a community based out of Africa, having its head office present in Lagos, Nigeria and Bodhan Foundation, Trust – India. The Theme of Uplift South Asia is about uplifting youth in South Asia by innovatively educating them through technology in this post pandemic world. Here execution is focused on novel projects based on the global 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Sathyabama – TBI a Startup incubation centre which is India’s First Startup Incubator to focus on Blue Economy and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is established under the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology; Government of India for incubating, nurturing and supporting startups.
YouthUp Global South Asia leadership headed by
Mr. PP Shreyaas, the South Asia Regional Director, Asian Community Coordinator, Business Development and Growth head of Asia and Africa, YouthUp Global is collaborating for one of the mega projects with Sathyabama – TBI managed by Mr. Gautham Palaniswamy, CEO & Manager of the hub.
Both the organisations are partnering up for the betterment of greater sustainable and technology forums of Asia and Africa and greater relations to begin with projects as a presence in India towards the peninsular and coastal ends.
The Chief Guest, Shri. M Sesha Sai graced this event by inaugurating the Center of cutting the auspicious red ribbon, where he also extended his support from the Government of Seychelles for this Initiative and to take projects forward in this beautiful island. He also suggested important inputs of this project to create an impact down the line, As YouthUp Global South Asia and Sathyabama – TBI plan to participate in their events and connect with the government and involve the youth in volunteering programs.

Mr. Karthikeyan Bhardwaj, Country Representative of YouthUp Global India and Sathyabama – TBI Team and a virtual message conveyed by Dr. Faith Nwaobia, Founder and President of YouthUp Global from Africa.
This collaboration marks many initiatives to prosper together and create global togetherness which they are looking forward to.
