Dr. Sheerja Singh Chandel – the literary superstar

Satakshi women award winner Dr Shreeja Singh Chandel, a general physician from the beautiful capital city of Uttarakhand, Dehradun proudly talks about her recently published book ‘Abhivyakti mere man ki’, which contains writings from many yesteryears. She has been writing since childhood. Her first write up was at the age of 9yrs. Since then Whenever she felt emotional she used to write a poem. Thus making a collection of poems that she published with the same title.

Dr Shreeja Singh Chandel has been serving in our Hills of Uttarakhand since 6 years. She has served our country in this covid-19 pandemic as one of our Corona Warriors and feels proud to guide people for a better and healthy life. She also received the Excellence Achievemnet Award for the same.

Other than being a medico, she follows her passion also. She is a Bharatnatyam and Kathak Dancer along with making short videos with contents that creates awareness towards health issues, social evils and she maintains her dance performances as well. Recently she won NTT Dramebaaz National Online Monoacting Video Contest2021 and got 4th rank in Short Video contest by Aspirant Achievers on Mother’s day 2021. She also won many titles in different beauty pegeant Miss Bold & Beautiful 2nd runner up, Miss Innovative, Miss Dancing Queen Diamond Magazine, Miss Talented Glam Icon Season 2021 & Miss Talented MOM 2021.

She has been very sensitive towards social issues and has been writing many poems since her childhood. She has recently published her own collection now viz. ‘Abhivyakti mere man ki’ and has been a co-author for many anthologies like Ek Akhiri Mulakat, Adhuri Ichcha, Bundle of Joy, Hope, The Hidden Love, Ek paigam, Dil ko karar aya, Teri galiyan, Rang de, Fragrance of emotions, Ek nari sab pe bhari(Record Holding). She won 4th place in All India story challenge and got her first official story published in The Pristine Worldsmith. She is undoubtedly an inspiration for new generation.
