3 min readAs a nutritionist, Sartaj always had a dream for people, “to make them disease free, to ensure good health: eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life.” – He started his practice in what he believed, what he learned and experienced & started seeing the miracle happening.
Nutritionist Sartaj’s first client was her mother, who lost 10 kilograms in 3 months and controlled her sugar levels without any pills, and she is now free of diabetes. She gave him the inspiration and motivation to go ahead and help people live disease-free. Nutritionist Sartaj strongly believes in the power of food and nature and practices the same to make people live healthy and disease-free. This is how Nutritionist Sartaj Khan’s, Nutriquil wellness came into existence. Mr Sartaj has achieved various certificates in diet and nutrition like Weight management specialisation. Fellowship in clinical nutrition. Diet and Nutrition coach, Diploma in meditation. Sartaj is attached to Manyar Clinic and Shifa Hospital Pune. He has done his MSC in dietetics and food services management. With his superior knowledge, he tries to understand every individual personally and resolve their problems with ease. He is successfully able to treat diabetes, Pcos/pcod and weight-related issues, lifestyle diseases. Mr Sartaj has worked for more than two years in the health industry and what he has experienced is the lack of proper guidance amongst people who wants to be fit. People make them starve in the name of being healthy/ fit. The idea behind this venture is to make such a category of persons enjoy their diet and aim to live a healthy life. His Mantra to a healthy life is “EVERY STEP COUNTS, EVERY STEP MAKES A DIFFERENCE”. He also says, “Good health is about having the energy to enjoy every day. It’s about waking up and feeling fresh, and looking forward to the day ahead. Starting is important. Let it be a single step. But starting something will make you work towards it. Every morning you wake up, you end up using your mobile. The first thing people do today is checking their phones. Instead, get up and start with ten steps a day. The next day go for 20 steps. Increase it every day, and your every step would be accountable. Good habits take time. But surely, it can last forever and give you awesome results”.
“The best part about making minor changes is that they add up over time to create significant and noticeable progress. Accountability creates consistency. Being accountable provides focus and motivation, keys to getting results. Focus on the slight improvement. Changing small produces the most significant results over time. Keep it simple.”
“Getting 1% better every day counts for a lot in the long run. The difference a tiny improvement can make over time is astounding. Here’s how the maths works out: if you get 1% better each day for one year, you’ll end up 37 times better by the time you’re done. Success is the product of daily habits – not once-in-a-lifetime transformations”. “Taking care of your own self makes you better for each one in your life, including you..”
